GreenLife Pharmaceutical CEO Ebere Nwosu called on the government to provide more cancer diagnostic and treatment centers to save the lives of citizens living with the disease.
He said it yesterday at the opening rite of the Clinix Cancer Center in Lagos, which also marked his 50th birthday.
Nwosu said the driving force behind the assignment was to save as many lives as imaginable from the clutches of cancer and promised that the task would be completed in two years.
“The lack of cancer centres in the country and cancer deaths have led me to embark on the multimillion-dollar naira project. We don’t have good enough cancer facilities and machines in Nigeria. expensive for me, that’s why we’ve selected to help those who already exist. We come with two other machines to combat this fatal disease. I made the decision to lay the groundwork today for my 50th birthday hoping to complete at this cancer center would help save cash for the government because the rest of our people won’t leave the country for cancer medical care. In terms of the charge for access to our services, we will make you very able for others to do so. Don’t die because you can’t charge for doctors, ” he said.
He said the medium would provide a hundred beds, while claiming that “nuclear medicine” remains the fundamental practice for solving all kinds of cancer problems.
“We have one of the most productive diagnostic centres in Nigeria. So, when we diagnose, we discover that the remedy is very important; patients move to Lapasss University Hospital (LUTH) or any other center, and what we hear next is that the machines are broken, which ends up causing death. That’s why we’ve made the decision to create this cancer center. We don’t need to see other people dying unduly, if they move on to LUTH, they’re complete until 2021, which is rarely meant to be. We’ve been diagnosed, now we’re going to the hospitals. I do this because I need to touch lives, but if you don’t have the center of the flesh, you can’t do it, because you have a lot to sacrifice to save lives,” he said.
Trinity House pastor Pastor Ituah Ighodalo, who performed the sacred ritual at the proposed site, called for the proper environment for businesses to thrive.
“This great investment is timely, designed to meet the growing need for cancer prevention and treatment. The COVID-19 pandemic has shown that we want more projects like this, which will curb fitness tourism. Cancer is one of the deadliest diseases, so the government is trying to identify health care spaces for the population,” Nwosu said.
Faith Awa Maji Seven Thousand (7000) others will get a loose medical remedy in Zaria and Array.
