The number of COVID-19 patients discharged in the country is now 13,447 after 344 new cases effectively treated.
This is in line with new knowledge through the Nigerian Center for Disease Control (NCDC) on its official Twitter account on Sunday.
The NCDC registered 571 new COVID-19 instances in 20 states, bringing the total number of instances shown to 32,558.
The fitness firm had not reported any cases in the new states in the last 24 hours.
He added that to date, 32,558 cases have been reported, while 740 deaths have been recorded in 36 states and the territory of the federal capital.
NCDC reported that the 571 new reports were from Lagos (152), Ebonyi (108), Edo (53), Ondo (46), FCT (38), Oyo (20), Kwara (19), Plateau (17), Osun (1 4), Bayel Ekiti (14), Katsina (14), Akwa Ibom (11), Kaduna (11), Rivers (11), Niger (10), Ogun (7), Kano (6) , Cross River (4) and Bauchi (2).
The Institute of Public Health said there were 16 new COVID-19 deaths in the more than 24 hours in Nigeria, and that the death toll in the country reached 740.
It also stated that COVID-19 cases were still on the rise, adding that relief depended on collective efforts and compliance with the measures.
The NCDC has more effort than the agency’s to send the right message to Nigerians.
The fitness firm said the COVID-19 pandemic is a brake on global solidarity and global leadership.
