The Nigerian Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) has announced 288 new coronavirus pandemics (COVID-19) in the country, bringing the total number of infections to 44,129.
The NCDC reached its official Twitter account on Monday.
Eight new firm deaths have been reported, bringing the total number of deaths to 896 nationwide.
The NCDC said the new infections were recorded in Lagos, the Federal Capital Territory and thirteen states.
He said Lagos was the most sensible on the list with 88 new cases, while the CTF reported 25 new infections.
Others included Kwara, 33, Osun, 27, Enugu, 25, Abia, 20, Kaduna, 17, Plateau and Rivers, thirteen each, Delta, 10 and Gombe, 8.
The firm noted that the least instantiated states come with Ogun, 4, Oyo, 3, Katsina, 1 and Bauchi, 1.
He said the Lagos state government had reported on the recovery of 10946 COVID-19 patients who were being cared for at home.
According to him, 44,129, 20,663 released and 896 deaths in 36 states and the territory of the federal capital have been confirmed to date.
The fitness firm noted that a multisectoral National Emergency Operations Center (NSC), activated at Level 3, would continue to coordinate the national reaction across the country.
Meanwhile, the fitness company added that washing their hands with soap with running water was one of the most productive tactics to prevent the transmission of diseases such as COVID-19 from one user to another or after touching infected surfaces.

“In this election period, #TakeResponibility through compliance with the rules for us and our COVID-19, adding physical distance, using hand sanitizers and using a face mask,” he advised.
The NCDC stated that there was no express therapy for COVID-19, adding that some control drugs have shown promising effects but have not yet been validated for use.
“In Nigeria, the use of hydroxychloroquine is limited to clinical trials.
“Please take responsibility and self-medication, ” he said.
The firm warned that a high percentage of other people inflamed with COVID-19 had no symptoms of the disease.
“Then, to protect yourself and everyone around you, wear a face mask, keep your physical distance, wash your hands and comply with all the rules on the NCDC website,” he says.
