He described the projects as part of previous projects by the Buhari administration to provide adequate fitness to Nigerians.
The SGF said the projects would jointly help build a people-centred and technology-driven State House Clinic, offering and motivating the workforce to cope with some of the demanding situations of fitness service delivery.
He commended the Permanent Secretary of the State House, Tijjani Umar, for the final touch and the implementation of the projects, and his tireless efforts to raise the standards of service delivery, only in the clinic, but in the State House in general.
The SGF commended the Permanent Secretary, who took office at State House in 2020, for completing the dental wing extension, which had remained unfinished since 2013, and for embarking on other vital projects despite a lack of funding.
“The unique importance of this construction lies in current management’s ambitious commitment to excellence and ensuring that State House Clinic amenities are comparable to the most productive in the world,” he said.
The duo, joined by medical director Dr. Munir Yakassai and other officials, inaugurated 4 legacy projects, adding the molecular laboratory, the dental wing extension, a renovated burnt dwelling facilitated through the direct paints of the State House maintenance department, and a medical incinerator. Earlier in his opening remarks, the Permanent Secretary said State House Medical Center is populated by a variety of professionals, whose training, qualification and enjoyment have continued to make the clinic a screening destination for patients, trainees and concerned medical staff and mentoring.
