ABUJA, Nigeria (AP) — Nigeria’s most sensible military official says suspected gunmen who attacked a church in southwestern Nigeria in June and killed dozens of worshippers have been arrested. The arrests came two months after the attack on St. Peter’s Catholic Church. Francis in the state of Ondo who left 40 dead. Gen. Leo Irabor, Nigeria’s chief of defence staff, said investigations are continuing and “in due course, the world will see them, as well as others that are other ambitious attacks in the country. “Gunmen stormed St. Catholic Church. Francis in the state of Ondo when the faithful piled up on Pentecost Sunday and killed at least 40 of them.
