NEW MEXICO – A new Mexico-founded filmmaker’s organization combined to produce a series, “Behind the Yellow House,” which represents the real-life joy of a woman with a witch coven in Albuquerque rule in the 1960s.
Terry Futschik, executive manufacturer of the task, explained that the series will stick to the true story of Maggie, a Albuquerque daughter who connected to a witch coven in the Sandia Mountains. Character names have been replaced for privacy reasons. concerned in creating the task and started the concept of telling its story.
“We don’t make documentaries and we don’t make presentations. This story is based on his life,” Futschik said.
She explained that the pilot will provide an eight-year-old Maggie and her predestined future, such as witch coven and her practices.
The genuine Maggie doesn’t know if the coven is still practicing, yet she was a women’s coven at the time before Maggie escaped the situation. Trafficking and child sexual abuse are just two of the conditions that will address the assignment, Futschik said. In each episode, resources will be provided to help people who are going through similar circumstances, so they can access attendance.

Futschik said the goal of telling Maggie’s story to help others in similar conditions in New Mexico, and across the country, in all likelihood to escape her attackers.
“This is the beautiful state of New Mexico and the charming user who survived everything others need,” Futschik said. “But also tell a story of anything that’s happening, to this day, everywhere. It’s not just New Mexico.
Funding is still needed for the allocation due to the COVID-19 pandemic, said Futschik, who joined Seed and Spark, a crowdfunding for filmmakers, to raise an additional $20,000, and explained that the requirement to get the cash is to raise at least 80% of the goal They met the needs and earned $16,270.
“A giant component of our budget has been allocated to the project, rather than having to pay for it,” Futschik said. “What we were doing with Seed and Spark with $20,000 looking to get that extra cash that would help pay for those ridiculous expenses for the COVID situation. “

Futschik said “Behind the Yellow House” is lately in pre-production, with a distribution and a completely local team. Actor Brendan Fehr is the co-ceo and Joel Vallie is the assignment director.
“It’s exciting, we just finished our encores for the 3 most productive women. We discovered our Maggie, our young and young actress, and a lot of performances,” Futschik said.
They have six episodes summarized so far, and Futschik said they hoped to start filming the pilot episode in the first quarter of 2021 in the Albuquerque area.
