As I report in my new article, the quality of hydroxychloroquine on the Internet is not universally intelligent. For 3 months (from late April to early July), the drug was purchased from foreign online pharmacies. Using a portable spectrometer, the quality was evaluated according to previous peer review studies. 48 samples were purchased from 28 accredited online pharmacies and all were of smart quality. 106 samples were purchased from 53 uncredited online pharmacies and 21 (20%) Failed. Twelve of the samples from the unacredited sites were counterfeits and nine were of inferior quality. Both types of products can be very harmful to users.
Although the threat of dying from COVID-19 is low for healthier adults, there is also the possibility of dying from a fake edition of a cure.
