According to figures released by the ministry, the total number of deaths in the country is now 144,609 since the start of the pandemic.
The ministry recorded 50 new infections in the past 24 hours, bringing the total number in Iran to 7,558,812.
Among the newest new cases, 37 hospitalized patients.
Since the start of the pandemic, 7,333,743 patients have recovered or been discharged from hospital.
Currently, another 82 people are hospitalized in intensive care units.
To date, an additional 65,128,722 people have received a first dose of a COVID-19 vaccine.
58,535,994 won their hit so far and 31,353,097 won a third or fourth stroke.
