According to figures released by the ministry, the total number of deaths in the country is now 144,562 since the start of the pandemic.
The ministry recorded new infections in the past 24 hours, bringing the total number of cases in Iran to 7,557,134.
Among the most recent new cases, patients were hospitalized.
Since the start of the pandemic, 7,331,241 patients have recovered or been discharged from hospital.
Currently, another 138 people are hospitalized in intensive care units.
So far, another 65,117,058 people have received a first dose of a COVID-19 vaccine.
58,522,164 won their hit so far and 31,321,450 won a third or fourth stroke.
In the last 24 hours, another 5,927 people have been attacked.
Currently, four cities are classified in red, which is the highest alert point in Iran’s color-coding formula for the disease. 26 cities are classified in orange, while 188 are yellow. 230 cities are classified in blue, which means cases of the disease are very low.
