SINGAPORE: New COVID-19 groups have been known in 3 other dormitories of foreign personnel who in the past had been eliminated from the disease.
The Ministry of Health (MOH) reported saturday (September 5) that new groups have emerged at Cochrane Lodge 1 on Admiralty Road West, Mandai Lodge 1 at 460 Mandai Road and Tuas South Dormitory at 1 Tuas South Street 12.
Of the 34 new cases of COVID-19 reported in Singapore on Saturday, 29 lived in dormitories.
Nine past instances have been connected to shape a new cluster in Cochrane Lodge 1.He declared COVID-19 free on July 21 through the Ministry of Labor (MOM).Prior to cluster closure, more than 370 cases of COVID-19 were similar to it.
Cochrane Lodge 1 was classified as an isolation domain in April, as Cochrane Lodge 2, which also saw a new group emerge on Thursday Notification for Cochrane Lodge 1 was revoked on July 21.

Tuas’ south bedroom was classified as an isolation domain on April 24, but the notification was revoked on August 10.
Since August 22, there have been several new COVID-19 teams in dormitories that had lost the disease in the past.
New equipment has also been known at Sungei Tengah Lodge, Homestay Lodge, Tuas View Dormitory, Changi Lodge II, North Coast Lodge, Toh Guan Dormitory, Cochrane Lodge II, Westlite Toh Guan and Blue Stars Dormitory.
All foreign dormitories were declared COVID-19-free through the Ministry of Labor (MOM) on August 19, adding separate blocks in specially constructed bedrooms that are used as insulation or quarantine facilities.
Human Resources Minister Josephine Teo said last week that the new COVID-19 discovered in dormitories was the result of regime tests.
Workers who remain in dormitories and those in the structure, marine and procedural sectors, as well as those who stop at the structure sites, shall go through regime tests every 14 days.
Employers will also need to ensure that their staff has conducted a COVID-19 check in the last 14 days through Saturday, the government said.Those who haven’t won’t be able to go back to work.
