PARIS, August 5 (Reuters) – France reported 1.69 and five new COVID-19 infections in 24 hours, at 194,029, the largest buildup since 30 May, when they increased until 1828, the ministry of fitness showed Wednesday.
In a statement, the ministry also said that the number of patients in the extensive care sets of French hospitals for the disease had decreased from four to 384, after expanding for two consecutive days. (Report through Benoit Van Overstraeten; edited through Franklin Paul)
