New COVID-19 infections in France nearly doubled in one day

PARIS – The French fitness government reported on Tuesday 1397 new COVID-19 infections in 24 hours, almost double Monday’s total.

The Ministry of Health reported that there were 15 new deaths in the hospital due to the disease, compared to a 16-day build-up in a three-day era between Monday and Saturday, with a total death toll of 30,354.

The number of other people hospitalized for the disease fell after Monday for the first time in two and a half months. (Report through Benoit Van Overstraeten; edited through Alison Williams)
