Public fitness officials have opened a new COVID-19 test in Winnipeg in an effort to reduce the burden on other parts of the city.

The new one opened Wednesday at 1181 Portage Ave. , on the corner of Wall Street and will be open from 8 a. m. 4 p. m. , seven days a week.

There are portable restrooms in the newArray Residents near Main Street control have complained that other people are doing their needs in the alleys or next to their cars waiting for hours for a check.

The new site is a cellular installation. Once other driving test sites are opened in Winnipeg, the province will use public fitness data to determine where to deploy it next, if a network wants to develop its ability to test.

The new transit sites will be on Regent Avenue W. , on King Edward Street, near Polo Park, and somewhere in the southern component of the city, provincial officials said in a press release. A room can be added if necessary.

Other driving service sites will open in Brandon, Winkler, Portage los angeles Prairie and Dauphin in the coming weeks.
