ISTANBUL – New cases of coronavirus in Turkey have reached their point since June 1256, with 21 deaths in the last 24 hours, Health Minister Fahrettin Koca said Saturday on Twitter.
The country has noticed an accumulation in cases in recent weeks and has now recorded a total of 278,117, with 5,955 deaths. Turkey lifted a partial closure on June 1 and plans to reopen schools next month. (Report through Jonathan Spicer and Irem Koca; Editing through Giles Elgood)
