OAKLAND, Calif. – Another opportunity for the Oaklanders to get the COVID-19 is Saturday in the east of town, organizers said.
From 9 a. m. to 4 p. m. , exams will be conducted at the Church Made of the Full Gospel, 103four 66th Ave. Tests are loose and applicants can walk or drive for the test.
The tests are concentrated in the black community, which took the tests seriously but was disproportionately affected by coronavirus deaths.
“Unfortunately, where we’re seeing an increase in positive testing is with essential workers, who test positive for COVID-19 because their employer hasn’t provided safe running conditions,” Dr. Kim Rhoads, director of Umoja Health COVID-19 Test and Respond Initiative, said in a statement.
An example may be McDonald’s, 4514 Telegraph Ave. , Oakland. The place to eat temporarily closed on May 26 after a total of 35 more people in that store and one in Berkeley tested positive.
Staff attorneys alleged that the place to eat did not do enough to keep staff safe.

The mortality rate of another 100,000 people in the black network is 52. 7 more consistent with that of any other ethnic organization in Alameda County, according to the Alameda County Department of Public Health.
Eighty-five black county citizens died from the coronavirus of a total of 462 deaths. The Hispanic network suffered the maximum deaths at the age of 127.
Organizers of Saturday’s tests said they would take place in black neighborhoods, but other teams abused opportunities. Eighty-five to 90% of patients at the Roots Clinic in Oakland are black, but only 20% of those evaluated at the proposed clinic. The sites are black, according to the organizers.
However, Black Alameda County citizens are county test applicants.
Saturday’s tests are the result of a partnership with the University of California at San Francisco, United in Health, Oakland Frontline Healers and black groups.
