Netherlands vs Ecuador LIVE!
Ecuadorian captain “Superman” Enner Valencia led a fierce reaction on Friday as the South Americans drew 1-1 with the Netherlands in Group A to keep both groups in the knockout fight as they end Qatar’s chances of qualifying.
Valencia, 33, scored their 3rd goal of the tournament after a rebound in the second half after Cody Gakpo gave the Dutch the lead in the 6th minute with a strong shot in a result that took them to 4 points.
Qatar lost its first consecutive match in its first World Cup last Friday to Senegal and is eliminated. The African champions are third in the organization with Ecuador for Tuesday’s final organization matches.
Ecuador drew opposite the Netherlands to let either knock on the door of the knockout round.
