The holidays are here and other people are starting to combine like a family.
For some, that means getting tested before meeting grandma. Others might wear a mask when they go out to crowded places or on a plane to decrease the risk of getting sick. COVID-19, flu and other viruses are circulating across the country, after all.
And if your plans include a flight abroad, well, you probably need to verify that you meet all the requirements to enter and leave your travel destination. Some countries may still have vaccine or testing needs.
Here’s an advisor to prepare you for holiday fever:
If traveling to the United States, COVID-19 verification, wearing mask, and evidence of vaccination are required. If you travel abroad, some countries still require evidence of a negative COVID check or evidence of COVID vaccination.
COVID-19 testing, for example, is no longer required to enter the U. S. U. S. by air. However, other people traveling to the U. S. U. S. citizens who are not U. S. citizens or permanent citizens will need to show evidence that they are fully vaccinated to enter the country.
Check with your airline or cruise for maximum up-to-date information about your destination.

COVID-19 checks can still be obtained at Miami International Airport. Airport tests charge between $79 and $179. Si you travel to or from MIA, you can make a layover at two control sites.
One of the sites is on the ground floor of Hall E, opposite Gate 11. The site, which is open 24 hours a day, has immediate antigen and PCR checks. The effects of the antigen should be had in 15 minutes and PCR control. The effects should be taken within 40 minutes.

MIA has another checkpoint near the TSA checkpoint in Hall H at the departures point at Gate 20. This control site is open from 7 a. m. to 7 p. m. m. y offers immediate antigen, PCR and PCR controls. It is not mandatory.

If you’re traveling to and from Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport, you’ll want to look elsewhere for a COVID-19 check. The FLL verification site closed on December 3.
Miami-Dade County has an online locator you can use to locate a COVID-19 verification site near you. Another option is to use Nomi Health’s online locator to locate a verification site in Miami-Dade or Florida.
Some of the Nomi Health testing sites that remain open in Miami-Dade County include Zoo Miami, Miami Dade College North campus, Aventura Mall, Dolphin Mall and Tropical Park, which is open 24 hours a day.
At those Nomi Health sites, you get advantages from a BOGO offering: a single nasal swab test for COVID-19 and influenza A and B.
For others living in the U. S. If you have insurance, your policy will have to cover the COVID and flu check charge. For others living in the U. S. If you don’t have insurance, don’t worry: your checks are free. other people who do not live in the U. S. In the U. S. and they don’t have insurance, they can still get checked out on Nomi Health sites, but expect to pay about $75 for the COVID and flu check or about $50 for a COVID check.
Please note that checks will close at five h. la Christmas Eve. All Nomi Health checks will also be closed on Christmas, according to Miami-Dade’s COVID-19 check locator.

▪ Broward Library Branch, 7five1 SW 121st Ave. in Davie. It is open from 9 am to 6 pm. Monday Friday. This test also provides COVID-19 vaccines for children five years and older.
Cheap and loose COVID-19 checks can also be obtained elsewhere, adding CVS, Walgreens, network fitness centers, personal fitness companies and urgent care centers. Check with your provider. Some options, such as CVS and Walgreens, can also check for COVID and flu simultaneously.
Another option is to stain at home.
Home verification kits can be obtained at stores that add CVS, Walgreens, Walmart, and Amazon. Most insurance plans cover up to 8 loose home COVID checkkits each month.
