WINDOW ROCK, Ariz. – The Navajo Nation Fitness Reported 32 new COVID-19 cases with one additional death on Thursday.
The most recent figures bring the total number of instances to 10,582, adding 4 more instances that had not been reported in the past due to a delay in reporting or reconciliation.
The death toll is now 563 since the start of the pandemic.
Tribal fitness officials said another 111430 people in the vast reserve covering parts of Arizona, New Mexico and Utah have been subjected to coronavirus testing and 7312 have recovered.
An on-site shelter order, a mask order, curfews and weekend closures are still in effect in the Navajo Nation.
