Two new cases of COVID-19 were reported in Newfoundland and Labrador on Saturday, either similar to a trip.
According to a press of the Provincial Ministry of Health, the first new case shown is a resident of the province of about 60 years in the Eastern Health Region, which has returned to the province from Europe.
The new case moment is also a resident of the Eastern Health Region, an elderly man 20 to 39 years old who has returned to the united States province.
The two instances are related.
The other two people have been removed since their arrival and the search for contacts is underway.
The two new instances raise the total number of COVID-19 instances in the province to 296 and a new cure for the virus has been announced, bringing the number of active instances to six.
On Saturday, another 54439 people were screened for COVID-19, an increase of 178 in the last 24 hours.
The Ministry of Health issued several notices as a component of Saturday’s press release relating to rotating staff.
Public Health is asking passengers who traveled on Air Canada Flight 7480 from Montreal to San Juan on November 5 to call 811 for a COVID-19 test. The account is issued as a precaution and is similar to the announced moment case.
The government is also informing rotary personnel about two COVID-19 outbreaks in Alberta that were reported in canadian Natural Resources Albian’s oil sands and Imperial Kearl Lake Wapasu’s oil sands.
People who run to the site who have returned to the province call 811 to verify and go through a full isolation period of two weeks, regardless of the outcome of the verification.
On Friday, the Department of Health asked some of the members of the province to self-insulate after being notified of a COVID-19 outbreak at the Manitoba Hydro Keeyask hydroelectric project, about 725 kilometres north of Winnipeg.
Most changes can end their self-de-insulation after seven days if they have won a negative COVID-19 test.
These regulations apply to staff at sites where an epidemic is occurring.
