A mother revealed how much she was constantly suffering after dental treatment in Turkey that left her with tiny tooth stumps.
Zeba Ali, 34, a London teacher, left in “utter agony” after traveling more than 2,000 miles around the world for the personal procedure.
Zeba remembers that he was not concerned about his teeth, apart from a tooth as a whole of decay, which was misaligned.
Due to high dental fees in the UK, she went to see a dentist founded in Istanbul, Turkey, who said he sold her a dream holiday in addition to a five-star dental treatment.
After a five-minute video consultation, Zeba begged to have veneers placed on him and, since the dentist was the best qualified, he trusted his resolution and signed up for the procedure.
But his dreams of having the best smile in “Hollywood” were soon shattered.
The mother has found herself with a variety of symptoms ranging from incessant tenderness to excruciating pain, where she cannot eat or drink well, as her teeth have “accidentally” shaved on her ankles.
Zeba said, “I asked to look in the mirror because I didn’t know what they were doing because I couldn’t feel anything and I ran out crying.
“I felt my center tighten and I was absolutely speechless, but it was too late.
“I’m in shock, because I thought they would put ‘prepless’ veneers and not touch my herbal teeth. “
Zeba said he first spoke to the dentist on WhatsApp, where he was asked to open his mouth so they could take a look.
He continued, “Since she is a five-star dentist, I trusted her and didn’t worry about money.
“I was expecting despite everything to have my teeth lined up, plus I was promised a luxury hotel with a spa.
“However, the delight is completely different from the way they described it and it’s terrible from the start. “
In March 2022 he went to the clinic and paid £2,000 for the discoloration, a hygienist service and the procedure.
When she arrived, she was expecting another in-person consultation, but instead, she was immediately taken to surgery.
She said: “I think maybe there’s nothing else I need to know and I didn’t say anything because I trusted everyone.
“I didn’t think the unprepared veneers were for brushing my teeth on an herbal basis, especially since mine were healthy.
“I informed them that they hadn’t told me this was going to happen and that the procedure would be reversible, but they only apologized for the mistake. “
“I was devastated, so they handed me over without delay and left me after they put the veneers on me, which were crowns. “
Zeba claims they overlooked giving him important data and didn’t mention that his teeth would be destroyed forever.
Although he still has herbal teeth on his set, he was also shaved two of them for “aesthetic” reasons.
And she wasn’t satisfied with her diminishing set either after learning that her teeth would look like a blank “layer,” only to make them look thicker than before.
Zeba said: “Here they touch my teeth because they were perfectly healthy and it was not necessary.
“They would have rejected me and instead obtained the correct orthodontic remedy or compound union.
“After the numbness dissipated, I felt intense pain and since then I have a constant challenge in one of my teeth that looks like a ‘tingling’ sensation. “
The delight is absolutely different from how they described it and it’s terrible from the start. “
And Zeba says he had to die again after complaining, which led dentists to root canals on the nerves in that tooth.
However, the single mother now claims that “the pain has gotten worse” and that her tooth is absolutely being removed or a dental implant is being placed.
Zeba added: “I am a single mother and this affects my upbringing as I am short and lively with my son.
“It left me with a serious problem and put a lot of strain on my intellectual health.
“Financially, it’s been a huge burden, as I can’t keep taking time to get through again and will have to go through a beloved maintenance remedy for the rest of my life. “
Zeba says he told him the sensitivity would be minimized after six months, but five months later there are still no signs of that.
Because of the pain, he made a stopover at his usual dentist in the UK, who told him that crowns will want to be replaced every five to 10 years.
Now she has pleaded with other people interested in dental care in Turkey to conduct extensive studies beforehand.
Zeba added: “Always contact a UK dentist first to see what they offer you, as they may not touch you and cause irreversible damage.
“Since then, I’ve been told I may have only had braces or Invisalign, which would have solved the challenge and prevented me from cutting my healthy teeth into stumps.
“I presented return only of crowns, which does not cover all the hotels, flights and transfers that I had to pay.
“Turkish dentists are interested in giving you the look you want, even if there is no going back or follow-up.
“I’m surely disgusted and wish I had been begged to have my teeth cut out herbally through those dentists who collect money, I would give anything to have my teeth healthy. “
