Mumbai Covid count drops 30% from yesterday, 1,898 new today

 

The number of cases in the city increased to 11,03,760 and the number of deaths reached 19,591. As of Thursday, the county’s monetary capital had reported 2,479 cases and one death. Of 1,898 new COVID-19 patients, 1,802 were asymptomatic.

Only 12 of the patients received oxygen. A total of patients are receiving oxygen lately at the city’s hospitals, according to the BMC bulletin. Mumbai currently has 13,257 active cases of COVID-19.

With 2,253 patients recovering on the day, the number of recovered patients increased to 10,70,912.

The recovery rate in the city is 97 percent. Mumbai has been reporting four-digit COVID-19 cases since June 7.

Maharashtra reported 4,205 new COVID-19 cases on Friday, bringing the total number to 79,54,445, while the death toll rose to 1,47,896 with the addition of 3 new infections related to the infection, the state health branch said.

A bulletin from the Ministry of Fitness reported that 3,752 patients recovered in the past 24 hours, bringing the total to 77,81,232.

As of Thursday, the state had recorded 5,218 COVID-19 cases and one death. It should be noted that the number of active COVID-19 cases has surpassed the 25,000 mark, indicating a developing gap between new and recovered coronavirus patients.
