“This is a tectonic shift in politics, think about where we are and this moment of having so temporarily replaced this candidate, by resigning,” Fox News host Bret Baier said. “It’s only been three weeks since this debate and at that point President Biden came out and in the first few minutes the world was breathless to be in balance after all the preparation that went through. ‘He did. I don’t think the aftermath of that scenario has ever recovered, and his efforts to give interviews afterwards did not prevent the hemorrhage related to his political issues.

“And just thinking about the president right now, you know, what a man,” Maddow said. “What a patriot. What an act of selfless determination for your country. And he’s a phenomenal president. He rescued us from COVID. It gave us the most productive recovery from COVID of any primary country in the world, at a time when the world is in economic misery as a result of COVID. Biden’s economy is literally the envy of the world.
