The Interior Ministry said it had returned another 61 people on charter flights to Poland and Romania. The other 23 people who returned to Poland included a thief sentenced to 12 years for rape and sentenced to 8 years for robbery.
Among the 38 deported to Romania, there were two sex offenders sentenced to 8 and 7 years respectively,
Home Secretary Priti Patel said the criminals “violated our legislation and our values, leaving patients and their families to pick up the pieces and rebuild their lives as a result of their heinous crimes. “

In July alone, 243 offenders were deported from the UK.
