MANILA, Philippines – The Taguig city government has conducted more than 23,000 polymer chain reactions (PCRs) among its population while continuing its attempt to control 10% of its components until the end of the year.
He also suggested that the Taguigeos be tested for COVID-19 at the two driving service sites or in the hatid-sundo program of the city’s 31 gyms.
The Driver Detection Initiative is a component of the city government’s SMART (Systematic Mass Approach to Responsible Testing) program, which includes barangay-based testing, a city disease surveillance and epidemiology unit (CEDSU) testing team, and tests in public and personal hospitals.
“SMART is a framework that promises that everyone who wants to get tested will be tested,” said Taguig town mayor Lino Cayetano.
