Montgomery County fitness officials on Tuesday showed a dramatic drop in active COVID-19 cases, while noticing four other COVID-19-like deaths.

The County Public Health District reported that active COVID-19 instances in the county were reduced to 445 for a total of 1,355. The 4 COVID-19-related deaths raise the number of deaths in the county to 94.

The deaths occur with a type of Spring in his 50s who died when he arrived at the hospital; a type of Magnolia about 80 years old; an 80-year-old Conroe guy who died in palliative care; and Conroe, a 90-year-old boy who died in the hospital.

All 4 patients have other physical fitness disorders in addition to being screened for the virus.

The total number of hospitalizations of county and non-county citizens fell from 12 to 121, with 38 of those patients in extensive care beds.

Montgomery County commissioners prolonged the county crisis declaration for 30 more days Tuesday at the normal court meeting.

“We do this every single month and we’ll probably continue until December. It may be longer, I don’t know,” county judge Mark Keough said.
