Montgomery County public fitness officials report deaths from COVID-19, bringing the total number of deaths to 15.
In weeks, the county has reported two deaths consistent with the week, and the number of active instances remains above 1,000.
Director of Public Health Joey Smith said Thursday that the county has reported 1,049 assets from a proven and likely 2014 lab total since March 6.
This means that the county has an active case rate of just over 0.5% of the total population of approximately 209,000, affecting the domain in an average spread category.
212 of these involve school-age youth between the ages of five and 18.
Another 977 people have recovered.
Since Wednesday, there have been 3 new hospitalizations, bringing the total number of hospitalizations to 90.
There were 25,977 negative laboratory effects in total.
The County Department of Health has moved its driving control site to Civitan Park at 650 Bellamy Lane in St. Bethlehem.
The test schedule is 7 a.m. at noon on the day of the week.
