Montco Opens New COVID-19 Testing Site in Lansdale

LANSDALE, PA — County fitness officials have announced the opening of a new COVID-19 testing site.

The site, at Station Square retail stores at 318 Pennbrook Parkway in Lansdale, will offer PCR testing, which is the most accurate form of testing for the coronavirus.

The new check will be by appointment only. It will open on February 14 and will be operational from Monday to Friday from 9 a. m. to noon and from 1 p. m. to 9 p. m. at five o’clock in the afternoonat four o’clock in the afternoon

The site will be operated through the County Public Health Unit.

“With the opening of our new COVID-19 control site in Lansdale, we continue our commitment to offering free and available network screenings to our residents,” Val Arkoosh, chairman of the county commissioners and physician, said in a statement. “Our numbers continue to decline, we are still seeing the main transmission of the coronavirus in the network in the county. We inspire anyone who wants a COVID-19 check to stop at one of our sites to get tested. “

The new Lansdale will be the sixth check by the county government. The others are as follows:

Ardmore: 114 Lancaster Avenue West

Greenway: Deep Creek and Snyder Roads

Norristown: 1401 Dekalb Street

Pottstown: 364 King Street

Willow Grove: Parkside Mall, 2522 West Moreland Road.

PCR tests conducted at departmental sites are self-administered tests and require the use of a motor vehicle. The sites are outdoors and subject to closure in case of inclement weather.
