Prime Minister Narendra Modi and US President-elect Joe Biden spoke by phone on Tuesday and the two discussed priorities such as the Covid-19 pandemic and the promotion of India-United States. Global Strategic Association.
Modi said Biden’s victory is a testament to the strength and endurance of democratic traditions in america.
“The Prime Minister also extended his sincere congratulations and most productive wishes to the elected Vice President, Senator Kamala Harris,” according to an official in the Department of Foreign Affairs.
India and the United States had been seeking greater cooperation in a number of areas such as bilateral trade, power and defense with Donald Trump’s Republican administration, some of which will now want to be reviewed.

Leaders discussed their priorities, adding control of the Covid-19 pandemic, selling access to affordable vaccines, combating climate replacement, and cooperation in the Indo-Pacific region, he added.
They also agreed to paint largely in combination to advance India-US. Comprehensive strategic partnership on shared values and interests.
In his conversation, Modi recalled his past interactions with Biden, adding his official visits to the United States in 2014 and 2016, when Biden chaired the joint consultation of the United States Congress to which the Indian prime minister addressed.
