Ministry of Health eliminates coronavirus statistics

After hospitals have been mislabeled for having more than one hundred percent of their capacity in coronavirus services, the Ministry of Health removes statistics from its website.

Israel’s Ministry of Fitness has cleared its coronavirus data page of all knowledge related to the prestige of coronavirus hospital wards across the country, following a briefing that revealed that ministry statistics had overwhelmingly increased the number of patients in several hospitals.

On Tuesday, the online page of the Ministry of Health’s Coronavirus Data Panel deleted all data related to the filling point of hospital coronavirus wards, replacing each hospital’s figures with “Unknown”.

A day earlier, the Twelfth Chain reported that several of the figures in the Department of Health’s Coronavirus Data Panel contradicted the reports of the hospitals themselves.

While the Sheba Medical Center in Ramat Gan reported that its coronavirus service was at 52% capacity, the Ministry of Health’s online page claimed that it was filled beyond its capacity, at 120%.

The Ministry of Health also stated that the coronavirus service at Shaare Zedek Hospital in Jerusalem at 130% of its capacity, such as the Hadassah Ein Kerem coronavirus service, the Laniad hospital would have a capacity of 125%, while Asuta Ashdod would have a capacity of 103%.

But the four hospitals denied the allegations, saying that their respective coronaviruses were not completely full.

A fifth hospital, Hadassah Mount Scopus Hospital in Jerusalem, said the hospital had no coronavirus services, even though knowledge on the Ministry of Health’s online page showed the percentage of remaining capacity in its coronavirus room.

The report came when Coronvirus assesses its goal of imposing a more restrictive blockade after a less complete blockade imposed last Friday.

Amid fears that hospitals could be hit by coronavirus cases, Ministry of Health Director General Hezy Levy called on hospitals to join elective medical procedures during the crisis.

Following Monday’s Channel 12 report, Dr. Vered Ezra, head of medical control at the Department of Health, said the hole in Sheba’s coronavirus service capacity was due to the opening of extra areas and beds in the room, the ministry’s upgrade figures. it still did not fit the hospital’s claim that it is at 52% of its capacity.

“The amount of occupied capacity is measured through the number of beds. Unfortunately, there was an error when Sheba Hospital opened new spaces with 30 beds without being reported to the Department of Health. This caused the huge discrepancy with the Ministry of Health number. “Health website. This morning the capacity point has been updated – Sheba has lately reached 76. 4% of its capacity. We are very fast for what you have and what is happening. perceive the importance of making decisions based on those numbers. “
