Minister of State for Foreign Affairs Meenakashi Lekhi is scheduled to stop in Georgia and Kazakhstan next week. He will go to Georgia from October 10 to 11, and then travel to Kazakhstan from October 12 to 13, 2022.
According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, this will be Minister Lekhi’s first visit to Georgia. “it will also interact with Indian academics in Georgia, who are a vital link between the two countries,” according to a MEA press release.

This comes as India celebrates the 30th anniversary of diplomatic relations with the two countries. Kazakhstan is now India’s largest trading spouse in Central Asia, while India enjoys $57 million in economic activity in Georgia.
