I’m going to Singapore from 8 to 9 October. I look forward to meeting with Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong again, affirming the strong friendship of our two countries, which is underpinned through our Comprehensive Strategic Partnership (PSD).
I will meet with the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Vivian Balakrishnan, and with the Minister of State for Social and Family Development and Education, Sun Xueling.
Australia and Singapore have extensive cooperation relations. We will work together on the paintings of our nations, adding to address the vital health, economic and demanding security situations faced by paintings of foreign networks and our region as a result of COVID-19.
It is an opportunity to promote Australia’s interests and reaffirm our shared commitment to selling a rich, stable, inclusive and disgusting region with ASEAN at the centre as we strive to take control of COVID-19. Our COVID-19 cooperation with Singapore includes discussions on generation and tracking, vaccines and multilateralism of vaccines, chains of origin and food security.
Our economic data is sound, backed by shared trust in open, rule-based economic and trade frameworks.
