The slowdown in the spread of COVID-19 in the United States appears to have continued in the past week. In the first week of September, from September 1 to 7, the United States recorded more than 50,000 cases of COVID-19 a day. In the first seven days of August there were six.
While the spread appears to be slowing across the country, most states have reported an increase in the cases shown matching capital in the week after the following week.
