MEXICO CITY (Reuters) – Mexico’s Ministry of Fitness published Saturday a record number of new cases of coronavirus reported on a single day, with another 7,615 cases shown, bringing its general infection to 338913, according to data from the Ministry of Fitness.
The ministry also reported an additional 578 deaths, bringing the total in the country to 38,888 deaths.
The government has stated that the actual number of other inflamed people is much higher than the cases shown.
At a press conference, the mexican government’s head of epidemiology, José Luis Alomia, lobbied for the country not to let its guard down.
“We expect a long epidemic, so we want to replace our non-public behavior and ourselves from risks,” he said.
