Memorial Medical Center Completes COVID-19 Testing

LAS CRUCES – After approximately five months and approximately 20,000 COVID-19 tests, Memorial Medical Center no longer provides driving tests at its Las Cruces facility.

Memorial announced the closure of its testing service last week, its last Friday.

The facility began testing members of the public in its parking lot on March 22, in coordination with the State Department of Health, shortly after New Mexico announced its first positive instances of COVID-19, the disease caused by the SRAS-CoV coronavirus.-2 Fix

According to the DOH directory, available online at https://cvprovider.nmhealth.org/directory.html, several COVID-19 verification sites are available at Las Cruces from Monday, either for a service without an appointment or by appointment.

The DOH recommends contacting verification sites before to explain the verification criteria and required information.
