In October, the People’s Deputies of Ukraine met with representatives of the Kastus Kalinoski regiment.

Such a political assessment was also expressed in our assembly with the regiment. This means, I believe, nothing less than the fact that we are in a position to talk to the Kalinoski regiment about all facets of life in elegant Belarus. , covering the rights and interests of Belarusians on the territory of Ukraine, as well as all facets of the long-term of their country. I mean, we see them as an organization that we agree with, we can [talk about] and that it’s legal to talk about [these issues]. Thus, we show our attitude towards them.
We have a Belarusian organization of great reputation on Ukrainian territory (and it is not the only one). But it is transparent that there is nothing more vital than the Kalinoski regiment in Ukraine. As I said, the regiment is beginning to take an interest in politics, in political issues. And yes, we are in a position to negotiate with those other people, as well as with the representatives of the interests of the other Belarusian people.
Today we have come to a stage where we see that Belarus, in the way it presents itself lately, is a risk to our country. Belarus, occupied by Russia and an internal invader, participates in the war against our country. We in Ukraine are interested in converting that. And we, Belarusians, to do it themselves.
