CORONAVIRUS RESOURCES:
Maryland reported 149,964 cases of COVID-19, totaling 1,198 on Thursday alone, that’s the total in a day since July 25, Hogan said, in addition, 4,035 deaths were reported in the state.
While the state is below its maximum number of hospitalizations and ICU cases, for more than two weeks, Maryland has noticed a “worrying increase” in either parameter, he said.
The number of hospitalizations remains higher among older Maryland residents, the maximum number of new cases among young people, the governor added.
