MANILA, Philippines – Police arrested a suspect on Friday concerned about generating false effects of immediate coronavirus disease testing (COVID-19) and other forged public documents.
The Manila Police District organized an operation opposed to Balagtas in Area 32 of Barangay 315 at 4:30 p. m. Thursday after receiving data on the proliferation of false rapid results.
Two sets of printers were recovered, a collection of documents and cash with the P300 brand.
Balagtas will face cases of violation of Article 172 of the revised Penal Code or forgery through and use of forged documents, and Article 174 of the revised Penal Code or false medical certificates.
Last July, police also discovered a computer store in Caloocan that proposes to modify the effects of COVID-19 testing. [Ac]
