The Manila city government on Thursday opened its fourth center providing solutions for the new coronavirus disease (COVID-19) for citizens and non-citizens.
Open Monday to Friday, it can accommodate another hundred people per day for now.
Last week, Manila opened two driving control centers near the Andrés Bonifacio monument on Taft Avenue and the Quirino Grandstand. The two services can accommodate a total of 900 more people during the day.
Earlier this week, the city’s first uninthed control site was opened at Ospital ng Sampaloc.
The control is loose for citizens and non-citizens in the 4 centers, with valid IDENTITY card the required document. Martin, for his part, stated that there were now 8 vacant beds in GABMMC’s COVID-19 service after some patients were discharged while others were referred to quarantine facilities.
Hospital Control announced earlier this week that the service had reached its full capacity with the admission of 76 COVID-19-like instances.
