MANILA, Philippines – The Manila city government on Thursday opened its COVID-19 appointment-free control center at Gat Andres Bonifacio Memorial Medical Center (GABMMC) in Tondo, Manila.
The mayor under pressure that early detection is essential to involve the spread of COVID-19, so that the city government continues to locate tactics for its mass testing operations.
“Take a sip and consult and find the maximum productive form for kaligtasan niya and kanyang pamilya, and for the maximum in the world, the key is early detection,” Moreno added.

Moreno said the pandemic “must have an inclusive approach” and “must be universally fought.”
Currently, Manila has 4 loose COVID-19 mass control centers, adding two transit service facilities, one near the Sanctuary of Andrés Bonifacio, while the time is in the Quirino Grandstand; and two appointments without an appointment, one at Ospital ng Sampaloc and the recently opened GABMMC in Tondo, Manila.
Some 2,100 citizens of Manila City have already recovered from COVID-19, while 188 have succumbed to the disease.
Lately, 72,269 COVID-19s have been recorded in the Philippines with 23,623 cures and 1,843 deaths.
