Leyton Orient has closed his stadium and grounds after “several of our first team” tested positive, the London club said Monday. The East is facing Tottenham on Tuesday.
Tottenham made no quick comment, who solved their problems in the major league in Sunday’s 5-2 win at Southampton.
Leyton Orient said he had informed the recent parties to ligue 2 and Tottenham of the positive cases, and that he would make an additional announcement about Tuesday’s match, and said the stadium and educational grounds were closed until further notice.
The tests were conducted after Leyton Orient’s adjustment on Saturday and those they have tested will adhere to the government’s self-disalrillation guidelines.
“Leyton Orient’s priority is the physical condition and well-being of his staff,” the club said in a statement.
Manchester City said Ilkay Gundogan had tested positive for coronavirus but gave no main points on his condition, and only claimed that the German midfielder would isolate himself for 10 days under government protocols.
“Everyone at Ilkay Club is a prompt recovery,” City said.
Two weeks ago, the city said Riyad Mahrez and Aymeric Laporte had COVID-19.
The City opens its season on Monday Wolverhampton Wanderers.
