COVID-19 spikes in Malaysia

Malaysia reported 3,245 new COVID-19 infections as of Friday, bringing the national total to 4,943,701, according to the country’s fitness ministry.

There are 3 new instances imported, totaling 3,242 instances of transmissions, according to knowledge published on the ministry’s website.

Four more deaths were reported, bringing the death toll to 36,537.

The ministry reported 4208 new recoveries, bringing the total number of others cured and discharged to 4,874,177. There are 32,987 active cases, of which 87 are in intensive care and 63 require ventilation.

The country reported 5,234 doses of vaccine administered on Friday and 86. 1% of the population gained at least one dose, 84. 3% are fully vaccinated and 49. 8% gained the first booster and 1. 7% gained the booster of the moment.
