Malala Fund co-founders Malala Yousafzai and Ziauddin Yousafzai concluded their trip to Pakistan this week, where the father-daughter duo had a series of interactions with key stakeholders in education, government, the advancement community, media, virtual cultural creators, academics and youth, as well as Malala Fund Education Champion Network advocates and partners, according to a statement.

During their trip, Malala and Ziauddin met with the Chief Minister of Punjab Punjab, Chaudhry Pervaiz Elahi, who, at the request of the co-founders, pledged to hire 25,000 STEM teachers due to the shortage of science and math teachers in the best schools.
