Mainland China reports 250 new cases of COVID-19

BEIJING (Reuters) – The Chinese mainland on Monday reported 250 cases of COVID-19 transmitted, adding 151 in Inner Mongolia and 27 in Guangdong, according to the National Health Commission report released on Tuesday.

A total of 626 asymptomatic carriers were recently identified.

A total of 266 COVID-19 patients were discharged from hospital after recovery on Monday in the Chinese mainland, bringing the total number of COVID-19 patients discharged from hospital after recovery to 243,151.

There were no new COVID-19 deaths on Monday, with a total death toll of 5226.
