Mainland China Reports 105 New Coronavirus Cases, 96 in Xinjiang

BEIJING (Reuters) – China reported 105 new cases of coronavirus on the continent on July 29, compared to the previous day’s cases, the fitness committee said Thursday.

Of the new infections, 96 occurred at the western tip of Xinjiang, five in northeastern Liaoning province, one in Beijing, and 3 were imported cases, according to data from the National Health Commission.

China reported 21 new asymptomatic patients, up from 27 the day before.

On Wednesday, mainland China had 84165 shown coronaviruses, the fitness authority said.

The COVID-19 toll remained at 4634.
