MASSACHUSETTS — Massachusetts officials on Wednesday designated 11 new “regional collaboration” vaccination sites that will offer vaccines to all eligible citizens of the state.
Some of the 11 sites are already vaccination sites, but they are not open to everyone. Starting March 1, they will need to be open to all residents of the state, possibly continuing to focus on certain areas.
The sites will also need to have the capacity to vaccinate another 750 people a day, five days a week, if enough doses are available. They will need to provide public links to vaccination appointments on the state website.
Information on how to make appointments at the new regional sites will be available in mass. gov/covid-19-vaccine in the coming days, the state said.
