Lowe’s is launching its Christmas savings in the past than in previous years with more promotions than in-store door racks.
The North Carolina-based housing improvement chain begins its new “Savings Season” offering on Thursday, a holiday grocery shopping season, as stores say it doesn’t look like any other in the middle of the coronavirus pandemic.
And because many Americans spend more time at home this year, Lowe’s encourages consumers this season to offer gifts for the house.
“We’ve noticed something in the house like never before,” said Marisa Thalberg, executive vice president, logo director and marketing director at Lowe’s.

Home Depot, Target and Best Buy are among the stores that make longer sales plans with more online savings to decrease crowds and spread the call through COVID-19.

While letters to Santa Claus are a popular Christmas tradition, Lowe’s is launching a letter-writing crusade as a component of his efforts to put more emphasis on the house.
Lowe’s is asking consumers to write “Letters at Home” and say why they love their home, what their home has endured this year, and how they hope to make them even better next year, Thalberg said, adding that some letters will stand out and there would possibly be some “wish fulfillment. “
Cards can be shared digitally on social media #LetterstoHome and there will be giant red mailboxes at Lowe’s outlets across the country to deliver them.
