Low Serotonin Levels Linked to Long COVID, New Findings

This week is a new breakthrough in the search for the causes of long COVID (the persistent, debilitating symptoms that last for months or even years after a COVID infection), adding severe fatigue, breathing problems, central palpitations, and brain fog.

Although COVID has been around since its emergence in 2020, much is still unknown about its reasons and how to treat it.

We heard from Elizabeth Cooney, who talked about this for our partners at STAT News, Fitness and Publication.

This aired on October 17, 2023.
