All aboard a TUI flight from Zante to the UK reported that they had to isolate themselves after at least seven Covid-19 infections from other people on board.
Holidaymakers travelling from Greece to Cardiff have been informed of the strict demands of heads of public health.
The aircraft arrived at Cardiff Airport on 25 August and on Sunday Public Health Wales said in a statement that the cases came here from 3 other infectious parts that were on board flight TUI 6215 from the island.

Tourists returning from Portugal may be forced to quarantine from the end of the week, an expert said.
Paul Charles is chief executive of travel consulting firm The PC Agency, which has predicted the government’s weekly review for the past 3 weeks.
The replacement can leave tourists facing a crazy race to safely return to flights to exceed the time limit for quarantine cases.

The paintings called for next year’s A-level and GCSE exams in England to be postponed to deal with the coronavirus crisis in students.

All passengers on a flight from Tui to Cardiff from the Greek island of Zante were asked to isolate themselves after at least seven other people on board the plane tested positive for Covid-19.
Dr Giri Shankar of Public Health Wales said: “Cardiff and Vale Test Trace Protect and Public Health Wales have known at least seven cases of Covid-19 from 3 other portions that were infectious on flight Tui 6215 from Zante to Cardiff on 25 August.
“As a result, we recommend that all passengers on this flight be considered close contacts and will have to isolate themselves.
“These passengers will be contacted shortly, but meanwhile, they must self-isolate at home as they may become infectious, even without developing symptoms. Anyone with symptoms should book a test without delay.”
He added: “Our research on a number of coronavirus cases has indicated that a lack of social estrangement, from a minority of 20 to 30 years, has led to the spread of the virus to other teams of people.
“I appeal directly to other young people so that even if they feel they would not be seriously affected by Covid-19 if they test positive, if they pass it on to a family, older or more vulnerable family, members, or colleagues, it can be incredibly serious or even deadly.
The government also announced that the user died within 28 days of the Covid-19 positive test, bringing the uk death toll to 41,499.
The number of new cases shown in the UK today is 1,715, bringing the total from the start of the epidemic to 334,467.
This is the highest figure since June 4, when 1,805 were recorded.

Scientists have discovered a new strain of coronavirus in Indonesia as cases in the country increase.
On Sunday, 2,858 new infections were recorded according to data from the Ministry of Health, below the record of 3,308 the previous day, but above last month’s average.
Its total number of instances 172,053, with 7,343 deaths by Covid-19.
The “infectious but milder” D614G mutation of the virus has been found in genome sequencing data from samples collected by the institute, deputy director Herawati Sudoyo said, adding that more study is required to determine whether that was behind the recent rise in cases.

South Wales police said that up to 3,000 more people had travelled from across the UK to attend an illegal rave in Banwen, Neath Port Talbot.
Chief Superintendent Simon Belcher said: “This type of illegal gathering is totally unacceptable and we are aware of the concerns it is causing for the local community.
“I would like to remind others of their obligations under the existing coronavirus law and the primary objective of all assuming their non-public duty in accordance with Welsh government regulations for the protection of Wales.”
“We have several resources present, the police helicopter and road police officers.
“It is estimated that up to 3,000 more people at the rally have travelled from all over the UK and we are reviewing the entire law to find out what moves can be taken safely.
“Illegally parked cars will be treated and other people who continue, despite our advice, checking out to attend this area of illegal occasions will be rejected.”
