Restaurant chain Pizza Express has announced the elimination of 73 restaurants nationwide, several in Yorkshire.
The pizzeria chain will close restaurants in Leeds, Sheffield, Wakefield, Scarborough, North Allerton and Halifax due to declining sales and difficulties in the coronavirus pandemic.
This occurs when Bradford and Kirklees have recorded jumps in their Covid-19 instances according to the most recent figures.
Bradford remains the Yorkshire post for new cases.
This occurs when parts of West Yorkshire approach the end of their third week of local lockdown.
There are still restrictions on seeing friends and the circle of family in personal homes and gardens.
But Grand Manchester Mayor Andy Burnham told the Mirror on Sunday that he believed the “general approach” of the lock could end this week.
He said: “I think the general technique will start to be canceled; some counties where the instances are smaller will begin to be published.”

Research on coronavirus infection will increase from another 28,000 people screened every fortnight in England to 150,000 through October, Health Secretary Matt Hancock said.
The National Bureau of Statistics (ONS) investigation ultimately aims to reach 400,000 people, the Department of Health and Social Affairs said.
Hancock said: “We are acquiring the ability to control the coronavirus on an unprecedented scale and we are one of the largest surveillance control extensions we have ever seen.
“This ONS survey will be a component of these paintings, improving our understanding of the infection rate in the population and the number of other people who have antibodies.
This will allow us to have additional spaces potentially affected by local epidemics and continue our combat to prevent the spread before winter.
“The knowledge and accumulated data will say our national, regional and local responses to the pandemic, allowing this country to return to what we love to do.”
Heathrow Airport has announced the progression of a new coronavirus testing facility that it expects to lead to the end of the mandatory 14-day quarantine for those returning from certain countries and “protect the economy.”
This comes amid reports that the government is discussing plans to eliminate general quarantine measures for others arriving in the UK.

Pizza Express has announced plans for permanently 73 of its restaurants, affecting 1,100 employees.
The chain, which has recently had some 454 restaurants in the UK, announced the measures following a primary restructuring of its business.
This includes several restaurants in Yorkshire, Leeds and Sheffield.
And a spokesman showed that he had finalized a cost-cutting proposal through a voluntary agreement (CVA) on Tuesday (August 18).
Although most restaurants were successful before the tax closure, bosses say incomes have declined across the estate in the last 3 years.
Yorkshire has recorded 158 cases of coronavirus in the last 24 hours.
Bradford supports the maximum domain affected in the region with 49 other cases shown, followed by Kirklees with 29 cases, according to the knowledge published today through Public Health England.
East Yorkshire is the only region that does not report new cases, while Hull, Doncaster and York experienced only small increases with only 3 more cases recorded in each region, having recorded only one new case each.

Thousands of homeless people will get smartphones and laptops to help them stay informed, connected and access assistance during the coronavirus outbreak.
A two-year partnership between Tesco Mobile and the homeless charity Crisis will provide other homeless people with 700,000 euros on phones, devices and internet data.
In the first year, its goal is to provide phones, laptops and tablets to 2500 homeless people, while the public is invited to deliver their old smartphones or make a donation to bring more people together.
This will make it less difficult for them to review housing options, stay in touch with friends and family, and access information and support.
