WASHINGTON – President Donald Trump spoke from a balcony in his first audience since he returned to the White House after being treated for coronavirus.
The president addressed a giant crowd in the south garden despite the White House’s refusal to assert whether it is no longer contagious and opposed the recommendation of public fitness officials.
Trump delivered a speech to law enforcement from the Blue Room balcony in front of a friendly crowd. Most of the crowd wore masks, but there was little social esttachment.
The president has not been seen in public, except in videos produced through the White House, since returning five days ago from the military hospital where he won an experimental remedy for the coronavirus.

BUCHAREST, Romania – Hundreds of Romanians piled up in Bucharest on Saturday to protest against restrictions on coronaviruses, despite a strong accumulation of cases.
The protesters, all without mandatory masks, briefly clashed with police as officials tried to save them from erecting an impromptu scene in the University Square of the National Capital.
The occasion came at the end of the week with the biggest infections and daily deaths in Romania since the pandemic hit the country in February. The small crowd was basically made up of right-wing Orthodox and nationalist Christians.

WATERBURY, Connecticut – U. S. Rep. Jahana Hayes said a test Saturday showed no symptoms of coronavirus in her body, nearly 3 weeks after her positive test.

WINDOW ROCK, Ariz. – Registered members of the Navajo Nation will be eligible to receive bills of up to $1,500 from the tribe’s reaction to coronavirus.
On Friday, President Jonathan Nez and Vice President Myron Lizer followed the $49 million plan through the tribal council. The funds come from the tribe’s federal coronavirus aid funds.
Adults will be entitled to bills of $1,500 while minors will be entitled to $500.
